is a groundbreaking event that amplifies the voices of DACA recipients, also known as Dreamers, while fostering a transformative dialogue about the critical role of binational leadership in shaping the future of U.S.-Mexico relations.

Taking place in Mexico City from January 15 to 17, 2025, this conference will convene 40 to 50 prominent DACA holders who have risen as leaders and activists in their communities across the United States. These young, bicultural, and bilingual individuals are uniquely positioned to serve as bridges between two nations, contributing to economic development, cultural understanding, and human rights advocacy.
The Importance of DACA Recipients
Dreamers are more than just participants in the U.S. economy; they are the backbone of their communities, contributing through employment, education, and entrepreneurship. Despite the resilience they’ve shown under attacks on the DACA program, a renewed threat from the upcoming U.S. presidential administration looms. The termination of DACA would not only devastate these individuals and their families but would also create a ripple effect, weakening the economic and social fabric of both the U.S. and Mexico.
This conference takes an innovative approach to highlight the binational potential of DACA recipients. These Dreamers hold the key to strengthening the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and the shared economies of both nations.
